Euregio Meuse-Rhine
As lead partner, the EGTC Meuse-Rhine Euregio (EMR) has the task of bringing together, in a cross-border context, the parties needed to make euregional projects possible. The EMR considers it its natural duty to coordinate and facilitate the cross-border network of partners.
The “Euregional Coordination Centre for Neighbourhood Languages and Intercultural Competence” (or “EMRLingua Centre” for short) is located in the EMR office in Eupen (B) and is an integral part of the EMR office. With Connect’ED, the EMR aims to develop a programme for euregional study and career orientation for schools, and in particular for pupils aged between 14 and 18, and to build a network of schools and companies in the Euregio that are connected to each other.
The EMR, mainly playing a coordinating role, assumes the overall project management and internal communication, as well as the coordination of WP 1. In addition, through regular social media posts, the website, flyers, etc., the EMR ensures that Connect’ED becomes known throughout the Euregio and motivates schools and companies to participate.
