Meet the Youngsters
Meet the Youngsters was founded to connect young people in a targeted way to companies in the (Eu)region. Through the Meet the Youngsters platform we show which beautiful companies there are in the (Eu)region, enabling young people to choose a career in the (Eu)region. The platform allows young people to build a network of (Eu)regional companies and companies to build a network of
young talent. Young people use this network to find a suitable school assignment, side job,
internship, traineeship or starter job.
The Meet the Youngsters database currently includes more than 1.100 companies from the
(Eu)region and more than 18.000 young people have already created a profile. These are
pupils, students and Young professionals (up to 3 years of work experience)
in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
By adopting a unique approach using contemporary technologies, we activate young people
to think about their future in the world of work and business. In cooperation with various
companies, we invent and develop new methods for this purpose. By using virtual reality,
augmented reality, escape rooms and gamification, we create support in order to inform
and interest young people.

Meet the Youngsters steps up for the following program components within Connect’Ed:
- Connecting 125 additional companies in the Euregion with a special focus on the Liège and Aachen regions.
- Developing 40 euregional VR films/tours within the defined themes: Einstein Telescope, Manufacturing industry and logistics, Energy and construction sector, Healthcare.
- Visiting 25 schools with the Escape room, VR films and the guest lesson Meet the Youngsters around regional labor market orientation
- Support in organizing company visits
