Since 2005, Basse-Meuse développement asbl has been the economic and territorial development agency for 7 Cities & Municipalities of Basse-Meuse. In addition, Basse-Meuse développement asbl also has more than 100 Members – Companies & Institutions – of very varied sizes and sectors, but all having in common being economic players in Basse-Meuse & the region of Liège.
Basse-Meuse développement has solid experience in participating in and managing EU co-funded and other international projects. Among these, Tettra, Digit’SME, QRM 4.0, EarlyTech and Innovation2Market have been successful initiatives where we have contributed to the implementation of innovative strategies in the fields of technology, research and development. These projects have strengthened our ability to collaborate with international partners and to effectively manage cross-border projects.
On top of this, as an experienced player in the promotion of companies networking, youth employment and training, we excel in the design and implementation of innovative educational projects, as well as in the creation of attractive teaching resources. Our expertise also extends to coordinating STEM-focused extra-curricular activities. In addition, our ability to organise company visits, career days and job fairs facilitates young people’s access to the cross-border labour market. By combining these skills, we are set to make a significant contribution to the Connect’ED project, helping young people to discover the advantages of the crossborder region and prepare for a promising future in the Euregio.
